Soup and Sweet
A soup and sweet in February raised over £550. Thanks to all who supported this event.
We ran two Pub Nights in March. The Friday evening was a trial event for over18s only. This was a great success and we have had very positive feedback from those who attended. Saturday evening was our usual family friendly evening. The events raised £350 approx.
A new Yoga class has started on a Monday Night in the Village Hall from 6.30-8pm. It is proving very popular!
Those of you who regularly walk the paths around the village will have noticed that they have been deteriorating over the winter. The Village Council is looking at this just now and Moray Council and the Forestry Commission are being very helpful. Some work has already taken place but much still needs to be done.
The Village Council is looking for new members. We have lost a few people due to work and personal commitments and are looking for people to join us. Meetings are roughly once a month with none over the summer break. If you think you can spare some time to join us, please contact us through the website.
The Gardening Group are preparing for the Village’s annual display. Plants are being brought on in the poly tunnel at Knockando Primary School. They are also hoping to tidy up and cultivate other places in the village but need help for this. If you can spare some time to help over the summer, please contact Nick on 01340 810797.
