Pavilion Restoration PDF Print E-mail

Following 2 organised work days on the Pavilion, the changes are already apparent. It was in a very neglected condition, and having been used as a storage area, massively cluttered and unusable.

To date the gutterings have been replaced and cleared, the inside emptied of all unwanted items, windows repaired, new frames fitted to the windows, external walls repaired, bannister made safe. There is still work to be done, including painting (should we get a dry day!), laying decking, and reinstating the plaque, but the achievements to date are outstanding.

Big thanks go to (in no particular order!!) Grant Douglas, Alister Laing, Jim Hart, Ron King,  Henry Schmechal, David Scott, Neil Taylor, for all their hard work in the very unseasonal weather.

Hopefully everyone has survived the midge bites to help out at the next working party, date to be confirmed!!
