Archiestown Village Council are very pleased to announce that we have been awarded a£10,000 grant from the Lottery towards the cost of renovating the hall. We were also fortunate to obtain £3000 of spare funding from Community Energy Scotlandtowards the insulation costs which we have used to do the small meeting room. We still have a long way to go and funding is tight with much competition for available funds.

Recently we have had to say ‘Good- bye’ to one of our long standing drivers and committee member John Grimes. He and his wife Alana have moved from Tomintoul and now live out with the area covered by the Scheme. We would just like to say ‘Thank you and good luck to both of you in your new home’
